The Collector of Nandurbar, a district of Maharashtra is initiating GIS based monitoring of service delivery. In a meeting held in Nandurbar on January 17, 2012, he launched a program to geo-reference all service delivery locations of the district and formed a committee to implement the project within 60 days.
The GIS developed by Riddhi will help in implementing and monitoring the above project.
School Education Department, Government of West Bengal, UNICEF and Riddhi have signed MOU to train functionaries of School Education Department and Sarva Siksha Mission in School Education GIS developed by Riddhi and School Education Department, Government of West Bengal.
The System will help the administrators to locate gaps in School Education System and help in implementation of Right to Education Act, 2009.
Workshop on “Maharashtra ICDS MIS GIS” was held at Rahta Panchayat Samity, Ahmednagar District of Maharashtra on 14th & 15th November, 2011. Hon’ble Director General, Rajmata Jijau Mother-Child Health & Nutrition Mission (RJMCHN), Maharashtra was present during the workshop. Deputy Commissioner, ICDS Shri D. J. Mundhe and Shri Ulhas Khalegaonkar, Research Officer, RJMCHN conducted the meetings. Representatives of Riddhi Shri Suman Ghosh and Shri Dinesh Somwanshi demonstrated the efficacy of ICDS MIS-GIS to the ICDS functionaries across the state.
