Here is a display of some of the latest news about Riddhi. We are pleased to see Riddhi achieving new heights day by day, but we are in a continuous process for further improvement.
A training program was organized by SIRD, Assam at Kahikuchi Campus on 17th & 18th November, 2011 for capacity building of twenty SIRD functionaries in utilizing “Assam Village level MIS GIS”, developed by Riddhi. Functionaries from different faculties of SIRD, Assam such as Program Assistant, Technical Assistant, and Faculty Members etc. were trained by Shri Subhasis Deb and Shri Nayan Karmakar of Riddhi.

Based on the request of Kolkata Municipal Corporation, Riddhi has developed a disease Surveillance System as its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) through which the department can analyze and monitor various diseases like Acute Diarrhoea, Malaria, Dengue, Chikungunya etc. on Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly basis. The system has been installed and demonstrated to the department functionaries on 17th November, 2011 at Vector Disease Control Building, KMC, Moulali. Dr. Basudeb Mukhopadhyay, Municipal Surveillance Officer, KMC is the custodian and nodal officer for this system.

Multi Map feature has been embedded in the Vaishali GIS on 16th November, 2011. This feature helps the District Administration to analyze data in a time series. Through this feature, user can perform Trend Analysis and also can find out correlations among various indicators.
